Most of you will know after reading the January In Review: The Stepping Stone Towards An Exciting and Prosperous 2014 that my approach to optimal health and vitality is bang on track. Today, I want to give you a follow up.
So with that in mind, my food diary for the last 40 days can be viewed here. As I have professed, I am 100% accountable to all of our students and will lead the campaign from the front as any good leader should.
There are the odd wee cravings here and there but I just have a good wee chat with myself and tell that voice in my head to shut the fu*k up. I have much bigger plans, goals, levels, bars to raise and standards to achieve that outweigh and overdo any dirty little craving that tries to pull me off track.
Today, I was reading this link by John Berardi of Precision Nutrition. It’s an awesome blog all about why you should essentially follow my lead in the 90/10 rule. 90% of the time you eat for optimal nutritional absorption thus allowing the body to function at its best for longest and 10% of the time you entertain yourself sporadically with whatever you want (within reason). You know what they say – everything in moderation…including moderation!
