I have learned to trust the trainers, stopped with the “I can’t” attitude and really enjoying the improvement in my strength, conditioning and knowledge.
I have been training with Pablo and DMC for about a year now. I had previously only ever went to the usual classes at my local gym. Whist I enjoyed these I kind of hit a plateau and had no real fitness goals to speak of.
I saw an ad for DMC and went along to meet Davie and Pablo for a taster and immediately signed up. I really liked their take on fitness and training, I explained what I had been doing and that I didn’t really know what I wanted. I needed a bit of direction and a training program I could do anywhere. No excuses!!!
I travel a lot for work so found a regular structured program in a gym hard to follow. I appreciate the way Julie always manages to fit me in around my days off which vary every week.
Pablo started me on bodyweight exercises, moving onto TRX, Kettlebells and weights.
I loved all the above and the way it was put together, I could hardly do 1 rep chin up when I started, now they are a regular part of my training. Pistol squats – no chance. Pablo introduced them with the TRX and I steadily improved.
Now I can manage pistols without TRX. Recently I have been training with Grant and find him to be just as hard working, professional and easy going as Pablo and Davie.
