Grant was a really good motivator and helped me achieve the goals that I had set myself.
I initially went to DMC to do something to get fit and lose some weight as I found what I would normally do at the gym boring. I had also been suffering bad lower back pain for a month prior to this. Davie diagnosed some problems I had and asked, after a couple of free mobility classes, if I would like to do some personal training to help me strengthen my back and get fit.
I started a 10 week personal training program with Grant. He created an exercise and diet plan with me, some specifically to help strengthen my back and other muscles that would help take pressure off my back. I really enjoyed my weekly classes and after the 10 weeks noticed a real improvement to my back and felt a lot stronger and fitter. I was really pleased and surprised with the results. In 10 weeks I managed to lose a stone in weight, 11.5% in body fat and 4 inches off my waist. These were the results I had never seen from going on the treadmill!
