I am pleased to say that in just 10 short weeks I have lost 17 pounds and 20 inches.

I first came across DMC while searching for personal trainers in Glasgow on Google. At the age of 26, I had put on about a stone and a half since I left University and started a “proper” job. Further to this, my partner was pregnant and my diet was poor – McDonald’s was pretty much my staple diet! So, in summary, I was overweight, unmotivated, and to be honest quite lazy!

At my first session I sat down with Grant and worked out what my goals were – I wanted to lose about a stone and a half and get fit. Grant wrote out a meal planner for me and a personalised training plan and I started my fitness journey. To date, I have been training for 10 weeks and have just completed my 2nd fitness test. I am pleased to say that in just 10 short weeks I have lost 17 pounds and 20 inches. I have dropped from a 34-inch trouser size to just under 32 and overall I am feeling much fitter! My start weight was 12.2 and I am now down to just under 11 stones.

At times it has been tough and a lot of willpower is needed when your friends are tucking into kebabs on a Saturday night but it is definitely worth it! Looking forward to the next 10 weeks and can’t wait to see the results I get! I will continue to train with DMC as, aside from the fitness aspect, I find my sessions fun and there is a great social scene.
