Covid-19 Update

Tier 4 restrictions are in place in Glasgow from Friday the 20th of November for 3 weeks. Due to this we won’t be able to provide face to face coaching until Saturday the 12th of December.  In the meantime, we still offer 1-2-1 online personal training.

Winter Lockdown Wellness

On Tuesday the Scottish Government announced that parts of Scotland will enter Tier 4 restrictions as of Friday the 20th at 6pm. So as you might expect DMC Fitness will be forced to close until the 12th of December.

As a business owner this is frustrating, but it’s even more frustrating for a fitness professional to have their ability to teach health and fitness compromised during a time of year that focus on health and fitness is even more important.

We are still in a good position to be able to deliver lessons and coaching sessions online like we did during the first lockdown. We will endeavor to ensure our students are in the best possible position to stay fit and healthy while we’re still in lockdown.

As a darker time looms again we all have an obligation to ourselves to take care of our own wellness.

Not being able to go out and socialise normally, there will be plenty of time for introspection and retrospection. We still have the choice to decide what goes in between our ears.

because once you have educated yourself, it’s time to process, strengthen, heal and condition.

This is a my simple and straight forward path to learning, developing and conditioning a strong mind, body and soul. These books are my top choices I’ve enjoyed learning from them all. However, feel to share some of your favourites in the comments.

If we look at this second lockdown as an opportunity to take the time that we’re not spending on commuting to work or socialising with friends, and put it to great use on self development.
