Stay Fit, and Healthy Over The Festive Period
The festive season is awesome!!!!! Most of us get to see old friends and spend quality time with out families. There is usually abundance of food and someone ready to chin-chin your glass or open a beer. Days can be spent eating and drinking until our heart’s content and most people put caution to the wind and get stuck in.
The majority of our students (along with the coaches ) have spent most of this year becoming fitter, healthier and stronger. Giving them even more reason to celebrate through the festive period and have a great time.
I, like everyone, love a good feast. I enjoy Christmas and New Year and will do again this year.
Just because I am on holiday and celebrating the success of 2012 wont give me a green card to forget about my health, strength and fitness. I will still be training while picking certain days to have “No Rules” and other days to properly focus on re-hydrating, alkalising my blood and body and smashing some workouts to get my hormones working correctly. Here is a mock up of what the festive period will look like for me.
Sat 22nd – Finish up for the year – DMC staff Xmas night out = Party Time 🙂
Sun 23rd – Rehydrate with added green supplement and clean eating.
Mon 24th – Bodyweight circuit at home & clean eating day
Xmas Day – Gym session in the morning then “No Rules” – let the feasting begin
Boxing Day – Rehydrate with added green supplement – evening “No Rules”
Thursday 27th – Rehydrate with added green supplement. Circuit training then boys day out !!!!!!!!!!
Friday 28th – Rehydrate with added green supplement & hangover
Sat 29th – Rehydrate with added green supplement. Heavy strength session
Sunday 30th – Rehydrate with added green supplement. Light training session.
Monday 31st -Rehydrate with added green supplement. Finish the year stronger than we started group circuit at DMC HQ. See out 2012 and welcome 2013.
New Years Day – Travel to South Africa for a well deserved family holiday.
So, there it is a mock up of how my festive period will look. I love to train and like the way it makes me feel and this year I will be keeping my training going. I will also focus on my clean days, eating a huge deal of veggies and taking my greens drink supplement. Greens is important to help your body cleanse from all the acidy food we all love to enjoy at this time of year.
If I am stuck for workouts, I will pick some from this blog.
Merry Xmas everyone and a very prosperous New Year.
