Weekly Review: 18th-24th March
It’s been another great week in DMC HQ. As a company we delivered 99 1-2-1 expert coaching sessions. That’s up 25 on the last 2 weeks due to me being away on professional and personal development.
I’ve had a few interesting conversations around me taking my health and wellness coaching skills back into the corporate sector. More on that at another time.
Coaching has been great fun this week as it always is.
I really love my profession. So many different clients to coach, all on their own individual journeys. I get huge fulfillment in my role as coach. All my clients put in a great effort. Some of my highlights were…
Boxing training with Professor Lorne Crerar. He smashed 10 2:00 rounds with 1:00 rest on Thursday morning. Then on Thursday night he was awarded the lifetime achievement award from the law society.
I coach Lorne, his wife, Taroub and their sons Callum and Rowan. I love that responsibility and have great relationships with them all.

More boxing coaching. This time with Mary on Saturday. Mary who’s 60 is a new client of mine.
Mary has been with DMC for a few years coaching with Grant and wanted to supplement her weekly strength sessions with boxing training.
It’s been a few months since we started and Mary’s skills are excellent. We always have such a great laugh and smile. Coaching Mary is a special part of my Saturday.
My own physical training and movement this week has been on point. 16 hours in total.
A quick overview here:
Skipping x 3 hours 50 mins.
110 1 arm push ups. I hit a PR of 30 in a row on Saturday morning.
30 gym ring chins.
20 straight bar pull ups and 20 straight bar chins.
70 minute of kickboxing training.
Kettlebell combos and lots of core work.
Hours of focussed mobility dynamic stretching.
My hard work is paying off. I had my stats check done and I’m making solid progress. I’ve bought some new clothes in my ideal size which feels great. In fact the last time I was this size was nearly 5 years ago.

As much as I proper fucked it right up, I now realise that I had to go through it and come out the other side to get to this place and the next phase of my life’s journey.
Life imposed its will on me and I ended up broken and this resulted in intense feelings of shame, guilt, anger, sadness and loneliness. It was by far the darkest time of my life.
Anyway, I turned it around by accepting the situation for what it was, completely forgiving myself for the mistakes I had made and showing myself a lot of compassion.
I’m back head over heels in love with my daily fitness training and I’ve developed a practice that keeps me safe and secure. Without that struggle and pressure of my past this latest and most powerful transformation would not have happened. So I am very grateful. The obstacle is always the way.
I had a conversation with a client on Saturday and he commented that I am always upbeat.
This positive state of mind is manufactured during my morning P.E.P routine. I have a solid daily practice of journalling, affirmations, meditations and my physical fitness training.
Anyone can use these tools to maximise their effective productivity and to manage their mental health.
My meditation practice was a total of 2 hours. My favourite one of the moment is this –
My favourite affirmation of the week.
I Love Myself Affirmation – Louise Hay
Deep at the centre of my being, there is an infinite well of love.
I now allow this love to flow to the surface.
It fills my heart, my body, my mind, my consciousness, my very being, and radiates out from me in all directions and returns to me multiplied.
The more love I use and give, the more I have to give. The supply is endless.
The use of love makes me feel good,it is an expression of my inner joy.
I love myself; therefore, I take loving care of my body.
I lovingly feed it nourishing foods and beverages, I lovingly groom it and dress it, and my body lovingly responds to me with vibrant health and energy.
I love myself; therefore provide for myself a comfortable home, one that fills all my needs and is a pleasure to be in.
I fill the rooms with the vibration of love so that all who enter, myself included, will feel this love and be nourished by it.
I love myself; therefore I work at a job I truly enjoy doing, one that uses my creative talents and abilities, working with and for people I love and who love me, and earning a good income.
I love myself; therefore, I behave and think in a loving way to all people for I know that, that which I give out returns to me multiplied.
I only attract loving people in my world, for they are a mirror of what I am.
I love myself; therefore I forgive and totally release the past and all past experiences and I am free.
I love myself; therefore I live totally in the now, experiencing each moment as good and knowing that my future is bright and joyous and secure, for I am a beloved child of the Universe and the Universe lovingly takes care of me now and forever more.
And so it is.

My education for the week has been mostly listening to YouTube motivational videos and some book reading.
Food was fun this week. The majority of it was homemade and wholesome on Friday I was out with Tony Quin C.E.O of Silver Cloud , Glasgow’s leading telecommunications specialist. We had a lovely meal and a catch up at Tiffany’s steak house then on Saturday night I enjoyed a few Stella’s and my favourite Indian food. South Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken with a garlic naan bread and boiled rice.
I’m getting stuck into a new week. My goals are recalibrated, my intentions set and I’m ready to work.
I’ve enjoyed my music this week been listening to an eclectic mix, ranging from 50 cent to Andrea Bocheli, happy hardcore and Pink Floyd. Music is such a massive part of my life I love it.
If I can help you with anything at all please let me know.
