Weekly Review – South Africa
It’s been another great week.
As a company we delivered 83 1-2-1 expert personal training and health and wellness coaching sessions.
We had 5 enquires.
We did 4 taster sessions and welcomed Ellie, Alex, Christie & Joe in to the DMC Fitness Crew.
I did two conscious acts of kindness by donating £100 cash and a £150 voucher to 2 charities.
It’s been a great week in the sun with loads of Fun.
Family Time
Walks along the beach, Arcades, 10 pin bowling, swimming, reading, laughing and long hugs with my boys. I usually only get to see my boys in the morning at home on a Friday due to my own wellness and business responsibilities. It’s lovely to hear them say good morning and the hugs are always epic.
Food
So much amazing food. Many meals out, amazing bbq’s and some great home cooked food. It’s cheaper to eat out here than to stay in and use the electricity. You can have a 3 course meal for £5 honestly it’s actually ridiculous.
Lots of wine, gins and some ice cold beers have been enjoyed.

I love it all! Fitness, food, drinks and I have it all in my own equal measures.
Life is about self care, self appreciation and your own happiness. Be present and be alive.
I’ve read 2 books since I’ve been here and I’ve done a lot of creative writing.

I’ve been thinking a LOT. I have made some huge decisions around where I go next and the direction my business goes.
The next part of my life’s project will be its biggest and most rewarding. I’m excited about the next 36 months.
Believe it, see it, feel it, create it, share it, contribute it.
Personal Health and Fitness
Personally, I’ve achieved some big goals with my physique and fitness.
My goal has been for a long time to be lean enough to wear medium casual tops and 34-inch shorts. That’s now been achieved and I am a lot happier in myself and my skin. I have more to achieve in this area but for the moment I’m just happy and proud that I’m where I’ve wanted to be for a very long time.

Fitness wise I am loving mobilising, moving, and training in the sunshine every day. 24 hours in total and the following as a summary.
Skipping 5 hours
Chins – 150
Pull-ups – 20
Push-ups – 500
Rooney crunch – 500
Heavy band planks – 30:00
W-Y-W-T – x150
Kickboxing 70:00 mins
Kettlebells combos 30:00
Dynamic Flow – many hours
My highlights
1- PR in chin-ups
2- can now down dog easily
3- headstand variations
4- epic rounds of kickboxing
So athletically and aesthetically I am making great progress and I am proud and happy. It’s been a long Road with a whole list of epic fuck ups but I am here now and I will NEVER go there again.
My meditation practice has been deep and floating. A total of 3 hours
Here are some of my favourites.
I’ve been writing a lot in my journal. It’s been deep and I’ve been sharing on my Facebook as I do every morning as part of my daily P.E.P routine.
Here is one of my favourite shares from this last week.
Saturday 6th April
As I sit here and think about the journey I appreciate the dark.
It’s the dark that guides you towards the light.
In every struggle there is success.
In every failure, there is a lesson.
In every friendship there is love.
In every battle there is victory.
In the moment there can be love, connection, contentment, and calm.
Just breathe into it centre yourself and feel.
Remember and affirm.
I am enough.
I have always been enough.
I am perfectly imperfect.
I am loving.
I am caring.
I am strong.
I am courageous.
I am brave.
I am unique.
I am love.
I am compassion.
I am healthy.
I am happy.
I am whole.
Shine on you beautiful soul x

“Strength for Life”
I also play games with my kids. The I AM game and the gratitude game. It’s my responsibility to ensure they both grow up with high self-worth and are secure in themselves. It all starts and ends with I AM.
On Sunday we watched the sunrise. Something I really love to watch is dark turn into light and night turn into day. It’s beautiful to experience it.
There is something I find magical about watching the sun rise. It’s a beautiful reminder for me that no matter what light always comes after dark and day comes after night.

I also watched the start of the Iron Man and caught a glimpse of the Professional men front runners on the cycle. So much respect for anyone who develops the strength and endurance to complete these distances.

We have 10 more days in this amazing country. It’s a really beautiful place. The house we are staying in is amazing and we are being spoiled by Mary and Jim.
Next week I am 42 on Wednesday and tomorrow morning I am going to sit on this bench and write a letter to my 32-year-old self. I will be sharing this on my birthday.
I’m looking forward to celebrating it. I’m feeling lean, strong, and happier than I have been in many years.
Oh, and my life is far from perfect I have issues and challenges to deal with just like everyone else does. I do focus on the positives and ensure I am being solution-oriented.
Anyone who proclaims or projects their life to be perfect is quite frankly full of shite ….
This week I laughed at this…
My amazing children being daft and funny.
Finishing this week’s review on a high with my song of the moment.
So much to look forward to and be excited about. Most importantly time with my loved ones and time to read, write and think.
Until the next time
One ❤️
