Our Personal Training Client Sarah

Name –  Sarah-Jane Moffat

Age – 41

Occupation – Chartered Accountant/Partner of Hamilton Capital Partners

Approx length of time with DMC – Since 2018

How has personal training with DMC helped you in the following areas?

Professional life –

I am certainly more focused on a daily basis and not as tired and lethargic as I used to be.

Personal life –

I am more happy within myself which helps with day to day relationships.

Your health and wellness –

Now that I am attending DMC Fitness I feel I am so much healthier and happy. I was diagnosed with endometriosis a couple of years ago and have had surgery but it will come back. The one thing that helps with any pain is to stay as in shape and as active and healthy as possible.  Since I joined DMC I am certainly feeling the benefits of the workouts.

What new skills have you learned during your time with DMC?

One of the main things I have learned is the nutrition aspect and how what you eat and drink can affect your health. Also the benefits of keeping yourself mobile and active.  Before DMC I used to go to Metafit classes and thought 20 minutes blast with a quick 2 minute warm up was all I needed but afterwards I was absolutely knackered and stiff for a few days, clearly doing my body more damage than good.

How would you describe the experience so far?

I have had a great experience with the guys in DMC and never once have I felt that I couldn’t be bothered going.

How would you describe your coach / the coaches?

All of the coaches are so easy to get on with and I have trained with all of them, I class all of them as friends.

How would you describe the facility?

It is a great facility and you don’t feel intimidated walking in like you do when you enter a conventional gym.

Why do you enjoy it so much?

I enjoy the feeling I get after I have done my workout.

What makes you want to come back?

The team at DMC are all great and they help with any concerns or niggles I have.

What advice would you give to someone thinking of coming along?

Definitely give it a try, it is nothing like walking into a high street gym and you are never made to feel inferior.
