I often get asked how I use supplements in my daily routine. One method is my through my Protein Power Smoothie.
This is the recipe I use for our post-training recovery drinks.
I call this my chocolate protein power smoothie.
Ok starting out with the ingredients.
- 500ml water
- 1 medium banana
- 1 scoop sunwarrior
- 1 scoop my protein vegan blend
- 1/2 scoop shakeology
- 1 scoop greens powder
- 12 almonds
- 3 tea spoon sunflower seeds
- 1 tea spoon honey
- 1 tea spoon whole earth peanut butter
- 1 tea spoon chocolate spread (optional)
- Few ice cubes (optional)
Put it all in a nutribullet then blitz for 30 secs and it’s ready to enjoy.
If you need to, you can split this into 2 portions and spread out the energy or play with the portion sizes.
