Optimisation

As I continue my series of blogs on Health and Self Care, I thought today I would bring you the power word, OPTIMISATION.

Optimisation is the act of making the best, or most effective use of a situation or resource. This includes health and fitness.

Optimisation

So I am deep-diving into all my roles and responsibilities and setting my intentions, tasks, and actions for this next wave of effective productivity, development, and success.

In my opinion, being achievement/success orientated is the way towards an enjoyable life.

You must be clear on the vision you want for your life and have strong goals set in order to remain focused on achieving them. Then you have to be organised and have strong daily rituals and routines.

The small consistent actions are where success is found. And most of us can optimise our performance by reviewing the processes, systems, and strategies we use every day.

It’s all about innovation through consistency.

Today’s Task.

List all your roles and responsibilities in life (example template below) then score your performance out of 10.  Anything below 7 is an area that you want to focus on more going forward.

Roles

Coach.

Business owner.

Employer.

Father.

Husband/Wife

Athlete.

Artist.

Friend.

Student.

I believe being fit, strong, and healthy helps in this process because you must have a lot of energy and endurance in order to work towards your goals and be successful.

It’s important to have:

  • Success in your business/career because it’s where we spend the majority of our time.
  • Success in our health and wellness. A strong self-image, fit and healthy body free from illness, and vibrantly healthy. Your body is the vehicle you spend your life in.
  • Success in our relationships with our intimate partners, family, and friends. It’s where the love and connection come from.
  • Success in our own personal growth and development. Feed your mind, educate yourself, become a better version of yourself. Learn new skills. Make progress in your life. It’s where happiness and fulfillment are found.

Be successful by optimising.

Not sure where to start then ask yourself what are the 3 things you want to be/have most in your life.

I want...

I want to be/have….

1 –

2 –

3 –

If that doesn’t give you the answer, then what are the 3 things you regret about your life right now?

I don’t want ….. (Insert regret ) anymore.

Once you have the answers about what you want to achieve/change then set about making small and incramental changes and achievements a reality.

This is the process I use and I find it effective.

Remember, re-creating and optimising yourself should be an enjoyable process, so don’t forget to have fun.

Until next time,

One ❤️
