As I continue my series of blogs on Health and Self Care, I thought today I would bring you the power word, OPTIMISATION.
Optimisation is the action of making the best or most effective use of a situation or resource.
So I am deep diving into all my roles and responsibilities and setting my intentions, tasks and actions for this next wave of effective productivity, development and success.
Being achievement / success orientated is the way towards an enjoyable life. (in my opinion)
You must be clear on the vision you want for your life and have strong goal set that’s imperative. But then you have to be organised and have strong daily rituals and routines.
The small consistent actions is where success is found. And most of us can optimise our performance by reviewing the processes, systems, and strategies we use day to day.
It’s all about the innovation.
List all your roles and responsibilities in life (example template below) then score your performance out of 10. Anything below 7 needs optimised.
Being fit, strong and healthy really helps in this process because you must have great endurance in order to be successful.
Success in your business / career because it’s where we spend the majority of our time.
Success in our health and wellness. A strong self image, fit and healthy body free from illness and vibrantly healthy. Your body is the vehicle you spend your life in.
Success in our relationships with our intimate partners, family and friends. It’s where the love and connection comes from.
Success in our own personal growth and development. Feed your mind, educate yourself, become a better version of you. Learn new skills. Make progress in your life. It’s where the happiness and fulfilment is found.
Be successful by optimising.
Not sure where to start then ask yourself what are the 3 things you want to be / have most in my life.
I want to be / have ….
If that doesn’t give you the answer then what are the 3 things you regret about your life right now.
I don’t want ….. (Insert regret ) anymore.
Once you have the answers then set about changing / improving them.
This is the process I use and I find it effective.
If you’ve found today’s share valuable like it or better still comment below.
