For a long part of my adult life, I have put a significant amount of effort into my education. For as long as I can remember, I have been training my mind to take in new information and act upon it for the benefit of my career, my friends, my family, and my personal well-being. After finishing my education, I decided that it was time to put the same effort, dedication, and commitment into my body.

I needed a coach, a guide, a trainer to ensure that I put the best into my body and, in return, got the best out. After seeing changes in a work colleague, I decided that DMC  Fitness was the place to help me to match the commitment I had to myself with the determination to push me physically to be the best I could be.

My initial goals were simple: to instill an attitude to training that would, in time, reflect my mind in my body. I wanted to learn what foods I should eat and which techniques I needed to learn to improve my physical capabilities so that no physical challenge would be beyond me.

The best part of training with DMC is my coach, Steven. Fancy equipment means nothing to me, but the encouragement and determination exuded from my coach are what drives me forward to progress every week. I have been training with DMC for about 6 months now. In the beginning, it was not my intention to stay this long, but after seeing the changes in me, not just physically – but mentally too, I decided that I needed to do myself justice and stay until I’m confident to take my training forward on my own.

DMC has taught me how to train well, eat well, and as a result, has improved my approach to all aspects of my life. To me, DMC doesn’t mean Davie McConnachie (I’ve only ever met him once!) Instead, DMC represents ‘Determined Meaningful Committed’ fitness coaching from a passionate and dedicated team who will help to guide you along the road to achieving your goals.
