Our Success Stories

Pauline Kelly

My name is Pauline Kelly. I was born in 1972 and I’m a homemaker and I also coach and umpire netball.

I first joined DMC Fitness when I was 39 and I had four children in six years. I had started running to lose some post pregnancy weight.

At this time I was at the heaviest I’ve ever been in my life and decided that I would join DMC Fitness to learn more about nutrition. I didn’t want to just be a runner without any shape to them. So I joined, was educated in nutrition, strengthening, rehab and recovery.

When I started with DMC, I wanted to lose a bit more weight. However, over the years. I have changed my thoughts on this and put on muscle, which I much prefer.

Although I don’t have a paid job, I coach and umpire netball. As far as coaching is concerned, I’ve learned a lot through DMC, helping girls work on their strength to get through netball games.

For me, when I’m umpiring a game of netball, it helps me get through the hour of sprinting that I have to do.

Pauline Crunches

My trainer,Pablo, is very knowledgeable about what he does. He always knows what programme we’re working on and even if he has to change it because I’ve come in and I’m restricted through injury, he knows exactly what to do. Sometimes we are working hard at muscle building, sometimes on rehab. He also makes me laugh which is a big thing for me.

I would definitely recommend DMC Fitness. It’s a very inviting environment, knowledgeable staff and very supportive. It’s definitely a great place to come if you’re looking to improve your relationship with fitness.
